Alrighty, here's my tribute to the best bond since....well...since Connery! Arguably...

Well this took me two days and many many re-trys. Honestly...this guy was hard. I used the point-grid method. (using dots to represent the grid rather than lines..since its easier to erase) and a lot of upside-down drawing (try it people, it really works).

The reference photo is here: [link]

And, I am well aware that I wimped out on the clothes....but I don't care. :P

Very nice work. How big is it? I constantly look for work similar to mine to trade techniques. If you're ok with this here are some questions: I assume alot of the hair is done with an eraser. I use an exacto knife and slice both flat sides of a pencil tip eraser that  has a dull, but angular end to make it a razor sharp edge for hair strand highlights. What's your technique? I use a Kimberly 9XXb graphite/carbon pencil to get dark black areas without graphite shine. Do you use charcoal to get dark black areas? I use tortillions, Q-tips and a variety of small paint brushes dabbed (very very lightly) in charcoal powder to replicate super-subtle shading. What do you use? Oh,and you might want to check out an artist I watch tutorials on youtube from but I don't know if he is a deviant art member. His name is Darrel Tank. I look forward to your reply, Geinen.
